Providing EAP services can improve employee satisfaction and communicate to staff that they are valued; reduce turnover; reduce absenteeism, improve performance and productivity; and reduce negative behaviours in the workplace.

EAP services may be particularly important following critical incidents, or assisting workers to navigate changes including restructuring, however are not limited to work-related conditions and can also support workers to navigate stressors arising in other areas of life including relationship difficulties, stress, or bereavement.
